I realize that it is too high; what do you think is a reasonable sell price?

point of refrence

i bought a used 997s cab with CPO and only 2k miles (6 months old)...msrp over 100k for 85k back in 2005...only 6 months after the 997 came out...the car you are looking at probably has similar msrp, is 2yrs old (less warranty) and the new upgraded model has been announced and will hit show rooms soon..id say its worth mid to hi 70s

84K ??? Buy a new car . You have no idea what could have happened to get a person to unload a car with only 1300 miles but it does not sound good . It's rare that someone buys a beautiful machine and unloads it before the engine even gets warmed up . For all you know --could be a replaced motor like the car with only 180 miles on the 997tt forum .

My advice --Don't even negotiate it . Walk .

Depending on your level of patience, you can find better deals in a couple months when the facelift model arrives and the slower Fall sales #'s start to creep in. New model + winter = good deals.

I'm sure that I could get a better price in the fall, but in upsate NY, nice weather doesn't stay around long! I want to take advantage of the few months that I have left this year!

My advice... Do whatever make you happy. Since you are buying from the dealer, make sure the car is CPO. Normally, you will pay around $8000 over private party prices from a dealer. Good Luck.
