Wow -- So the facelift has a two year run.

 

It could be a small visual change like the 986 to 987. The tail lights look similar to the 997.2, wait and see.

I ran my car on the track, a Nissan 350 with twin turbo's was in my group, 455 RWHP, and I was able to hang with him, he couldn't believe that the 997 C2S was a NA car.

The 998 has to pretty awesome to get me to upgrade.

 

so would you get a 997 series 1 and just sit off and wait until the 998 2010 model comes out seeing that a earlier 997 would have depreciated somewhat and would give a substantial saving then getting a 997.2 and watching the **** tear out of it only 2 years later?...

 

Can't wait for these to roll off the line! Should be one heck of a ride.
