I agree, it looks a lot like the 997.2

 

Well, its a mule, meaning all the changes are internal, and its made to look like something else, so this isn't an indication of the looks of the new car.

For example, the Enzo mule was a hack of various 348, 355, 360 components, with the Enzo V12; the new Acura NSX mule looks like a hacked up S2000, etc....

 

I say bs. I think that's just another 997.v2 test mule.

We'd be pretty hard pressed to see a 998 test mule. Porsche ain't dumb.
