We Buy Stock Wheels - Save on HRE Wheels!

Vivid Racing has released a new program for customers wanting to buy HRE Wheels for their vehicles. Our OEM Wheel Buy Back Program allows you to get up to $2000 towards your purchase of HRE Wheels when you send us your stock wheels for credit.
So how does it work?
  • Pick out a wheel style you like from our indepth HRE Catalog Here.
  • Consult one of our wheel specialists for sizing, color, and tire fitment.
  • Email pictures, condition, and specs of your stock wheels to wheels@vividracing.com.
  • We will offer you a fair trade-in value for you to except or decline.
  • Place the order with our staff. Instock wheels require a full 100% payment. Made to order wheels require a 50% deposit only. Balance will be paid once ready to ship.
  • Once we receive your wheels returned here at Vivid Racing for inspection, we will issue you a credit towards your purchase, refund your credit card, or send you a company check.
  • This program is only available for purchase of new 3 piece or 1 piece Monoblock HRE Wheels at retail prices.
  • All offers on wheels are based on market value and condition. Offers are good for 1 week time of quote.
  • Wheels must be shipped back to Vivid Racing with proper tracking, packaging, and insurance. Vivid Racing is not responsible for damaged customer wheels returned to us.

Right now we have the following HRE Wheels instock ready to ship:

72guy is infamous around these parts
Could you give a quick class on what you get with the HRE wheels? I've always liked the look of the Porsche 19" Carrera Sport Wheels. The HRE's look very similar. So, how do I justify a $900 upgrade from the factory to a $6000 upgrade aftermarket?

I'm in need of the quick course on forged, cast, etc.

Regards, Dave

HRE's are super strong, and super light. That they look great is actually just a bonus. Reducing unsprung weight is important for many reasons.

Dave - I sucked at dodgeball!

72Guy - The 1 piece forged wheels are very light and strong. A forged piece has much different properties then a cast wheel. Generally a cast wheel is much heavier and weaker. Cast process is easier to do then a forging. The HRE forged 1 piece monoblock wheel is their OWN design and forging they make unlike other companies that use a universal forging. Comparing wheel weight.... a set of 19" are about 19lbs from and 23lbs rear. A cast OEM wheel could be 30lbs front and 36lbs rear. That is what some of the 996 wheels in 18" were! They have many different styles and colors that you can choose from to dress up your car.

hrmmm, i guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

...didn't Nero at Titan start this same thing a couple of months ago?

...I would be much more interested in dealing with a company that is at least original.

How true, the original company is the one to go to. I mean, competition can't be healthy. Why do some of us even drive Porsche's? Time to switch to the company that originally developed the automobile.

Please smack yourself in the head with a frying pan.

i know Vivid has done a lot of innovative things..they have made a great name for themselves...why resort to copying someone else's idea? just seems like a cop out to me...i am sure if they sat down for an hour and brainstormed they could come up with another great idea that would continue to help them differentiate themselves from the pack...this just looks like the lazy way out to me.

Nero please dont post in other Vendor threads, poor taste. I will report this to Internet Brands. BTW Wheel Enhancement has done this longer then anyone. We have tons of wheels instock. Call Marc HRE... One of the top HRE dealers. At least we own a Porsche.
