Help, I need a Fire Extinguisher Kit!

I'm trying to find a good aftermarket fire extinguisher kit for my 997s (with stock seats for now) any recommendations or links? thanks in advance for the help.

I want a sharky unit but they are for 996 GT3 seats only...bummer. I have stock 997 seats

yup.. last time i spoke with alex, he has the FE but he does not have the brackets for the sport seats. he only has them for the cup seats

Yeah total bummer.... so what's the alternative? I can't do this DE unless I got an FE kit in my car.

well, its obvious.. just go out and buy the cup seats

also an alternative is to buy the OE FE from porsche. btw, do you have a roll bar? there are plenty sponsors who sell the brackets which mount to the roll bar.

So I need an OE FE for the DE?

No roll bar (I wish) Still need to have my kids ride back there until I get a beater.

Are you planning on having a fire?

I am curious why people want a fire extinguisher in there car. It adds weight, it is small and won't put out a big fire, and I would be working on getting out of the car instead of trying to unhook my fire extinguisher if I crash and a small fire has started.

i had a hard time finding something that fits the 7gt3 stock seats. these guys know. they are local to me so i just went to their shop and found what i was looking for and it fit (safecraft FE and bk bracket. mounted on driver's side). they're good people. talk to stephen.

I've got the Brey-Krause R-2035 bracket and Safecraft Halon FE in my 997S w/ sport seats. Pretty simple install; just need to remove either the driver or passenger seat (depending on your chosen location).

Safecraft's FE & aluminum mounting hardware is a work of art!
