So after a long day at work last Friday, I was walking to my car in my building garage and noticed a 2 foot key mark on the driver’s door.

Anyone recommend a good body/paint shop in Northern Cal (Bay area)? Anyone have similar work done and $$$ impact?

Without seeing how bad are the scratches, it might not be a bad idea to go to a proper body shop for an inspection.

Take a visit to Mathews-Carlsen (formerly owned by Carlsen Porsche) bodyshop at Palo Alto, and ask 'Paul' to take a look of it.

Costs? Labor / Materials? I know this is relative to the job.....

 

Cost will really depends on the amount of work is needed. Luis has everything he needs in his mobile van.

 

I told you that he's a pro and a very rare find.

My paint is very unusual and impossible to match. He did it 100%!

 

Got a quote from both Luis and my dealer (P dealership) and the dealer was quite a bit lower???

Would of thought the opposite.......(given the p dealer overhead, paint booth, etc...).

 

If your concern is price have your dealer do it, beacuse your dealer is having a contractor do it!

If quality is a concern you'd be foolish not to have Luis do it.

Your choice. I know better and that's why I have Luis do my work.
