don't bother with this unit, it is a FM modulator. There are other options, NavTV, and Dension (others as well), that are direct commections to your MOST system.

 

what a joke, after all the hype that it was coming out last year.... I laughed when I found it was fm modulated, especially for the few on here that said they would wait till it came out because they didn't want anything aftermarket... I would like to ask them how does it sound? I am snickering as I type this right now...sorry

 

We saw this a long time ago, when it was 'leaked' to dealers. It was a joke then, and still a joke now. Ridiculous. Too many other great direct options. Porsche is really lame in this dept. Thank you Porsche.

Eric, i think they just did a low cost band-aid because of the new PCM3.0, and with it being VIN specific like MB now, they didn't want to re-invent the wheel. I will-say this though and if you are familiar with the new PCM, I see people leaving the ML's to go to the Cayenne just because of the new touch screen. So Porsche is doing a great job, they are the most profitable manufacturer for a reason... why compete with 3 companies that have interfaces?
