Lowering My 997? Will it Rub? Post Pix Please!!
Hi I Have a 06 C4 Cab It camwith 19" Carrera Classics with 305-35-19, I Installed a set of ZONE Rims with 315-25-19 tires & It seems that theres a big gap in the rear of the car, i want to lower it a bit but my concern is that im going to put winter tires on my Carrera Classics this fall & do not want to rub at all.
So my Question is Will i Rub if i lower it & put back the stock rim/tire set up? Any pics of Lowerd cars with stock rims
CHECK OUT THE FIRST PIC (STOCK RIMS)
And the others are of the new rims LQQK At that GAP!!.

Wow, those are beautiful wheels. They really set the car off.
I want to lower as well, but not too low. I'm thinking that the new 997.2 pasm coilovers that lower 20mm might be available for our cars. We'll see. I like the idea of going OEM but if not I'll probably go with damptronics. By all accounts you should not have a problem. Nice thing about damptronics is that they are adjustable too so you should be able to find the sweet spot regardless.

Lower it, you'll be fine. You have the bigger gap because the sidewall of your new 20" tires are shorter. Have an experienced alignment shop lower it to GT3 street specs (since you'll need to have the car aligned about 1 week after installing new suspension), this info should be in their alignment computer database.
I have full leather in my cab so I won't be able to paint the seat backs, unfortunately.- That looks hot.
