I noticed the arm of the clutch peddle on my 997 is plastic. It appears to be reasonably strong. On my 2004 M3 the clutch was plastic, but very flimsy. It would flex during use. I replaced it with a custom made aluminium peddle that was much better.

Any thoughts or experiences?
