Quick Question: Windshield Gasket?

My windshield was cracked and so I had it replaced last week by the dealership. Driving at highway speed there is now a significant amount of what sounds like wind or "white" noise that is driving me crazy. After looking at the windshield I noticed that there is not a rubber gasket surrounding the exterior of the glass, but for the life of me I can't remember if there was one there before.

I looked at as many picture as I can on-line and I am unable to tell so I still need input from someone. Did my dealer miss a step and just apply the glass without a rubber gasket??? Thanks!

Thanks, unfortunately I do not have a camera at the office... but, in essence, when looking at the windshield it looks like the glass was applied to the car and that's it. There is no rubber surround at all, class on metal basically. I feel like there was a rubber strip or gasket between the glass and the body... but I could be wrong. If there is a rubber gasket on anyone's 997 between the glass and the body, that's the information I need to know. Thanks!!

yes there should be a rubber outer gasket on the glass and it should look "finished". - same as the rear window on your cab.
