help - 305/30 rear tires for 4S?

This might sound dumb, the stock tires for the 4s is 295/30 for the rear, but I really like look of the wider 305/30 on the turbo. But I think even if I specs for turbo wheel, it is still 295/30 for the rear, can anyone confirm this? What is the best way for me to get a stock turbo wheels with a 305/30 for the 4s? Thanks.

try ebay? I see turbo wheels on there all the time. You may even find a set with tires.

Huh?? 305/30/19's are OEM for the 4S, if your car came with 295's someone switched them out.

Here...http://www.porsche.com/usa/models/91...s/?gtabindex=3

The Turbo wheel has the same offset as the 4S as it is AWD as well.

I think the 08 are 305/30, but the 09 are now 295, which confuse the crap out of me...I build it online and the specs are 295, also on the 09 order guide. If you launch the mini, you cna see the 09 specs.

strange, if you build and spec out the 09 4S you get :
Size with tires (front)8J x 1 235/35 ZR 19
Size with tires (rear)11J x 1 295/30 ZR 19

but if you just check out the specs for 4S (perhaps only for 08) it says:
Cast alloy 8J x 19 front, 11J x 19 rear
235/35 ZR 19 front, 305/30 ZR 19 rear

yap, I think it depends on which menu you build it from. My guess is the site is not fully updated. I just love the look of wider body with the wide tires. But I rather not go after market, because I know very little about this area.

My '07 C4S came with the 305's also. Given the fact that the 305's will fit the turbo wheels you can always add 'em later when the 295's are worn out. The 305 PS2's run $ 500 + a piece so you might want to get some ware out of the 295's before you replace 'em.

Wow, I never realized the C4S tires were that wide. Those are monsters!

My T4S came with 305 on the rear, but I thought it was due to having Carrera Sport wheels, which have 11.5" rims vs the 11" rims on most of the other available wheels. I have always assumed that wide body cars with 11'' rims ran 295 tires on rear.

I wonder if I can specs the 09 C4 or C4s with the 305 turbo wheels? I seen turbo wheels with 295 on current 997 but with 295. I guess size does matter.... The wider wheels makes it looks really sporty.

I have a 2S with lobsterforks. The 305 section tire fits just fine. If the car comes with 295's, don't worry, they will wear out in no time and need replacement.

As Michael L says..the OEM lobster's with their 11" width will fit a 305 size tire without any issues. In fact 11" is the recommended width for these tires.

My C4 has Carrera Classics and I have 305's at the rear. AWESOME look. The wide fenders with meaty tires looks pretty serious. I'm almost ready for replacement. More money is spent on tires than service.
