porsches website shows pdk then pdk matched with sport chono plus at .2 sec quicker . However 0-60 times they only show for manual. Does this mean that sport chono does not improve acceleration for manual shifting?

^ that is true. Sport chrono like before does nothig as far as accelearation times for manual cars. PDK it is better!

I believe this is because sport chrono on pdk cars provides the launch control feature.

^ Yes and that only comes with sport chrono. Also the car will shift faster. Much faster! And yes I drove it - WOW
