Almost Finished Garage Project...
Almost Finished Garage Project...
Just moved to Austin, Tx from Dallas/Ft. Worth
Here is my pet garage project. Wanted one of those fancy floors (actually the wife did, and who am I to argue?).
Hired a company to put the floor down. They 'guarantee' the floor but come with a good reputation. Their claim-to-fame is that they use the sanding process before laying down the base coat. Supposedly the paint manufacturer then is able to guarantee the process from lifting. Anyways the plumber's crack is his not mine
. Added some paint and cabinets.

How timely?! This is my next project...researching ideas and found some pretty amazing setups. Nice job on the garage! But, needs a little more color and some historic Porsche racing posters...of course, tastefully framed.

Wow ! Very nice. But ,where's all your stuff ? You know, lawn mower, edger, rake, shovel, extra refrigerator, snow blower if you line in Indiana, etc... Would love to get that uncluttered look in my garage but don't know where I'd put all the stuff that won't fit in a tool box.
I would love to have a garage just for the cars! Unfortunately, between all of my yard stuff and all of the kids toys I can barely fit a car into the garage! Maybe the next house.
Very nice garage (and cars!). Someday...

Funny you guys want the posters! That' what "almost finished" means!
The floor was done by a local company here in Austin. Took a day for sanding and 3 days for the coatings. Base, dots and top coat. Then stay off for 5 days as in cures.
These are the guys who did the floor. you might see a familiar pic or two
