Quick update...I was able to swap my sport designs for carrera sports this past Saturday...happy with the result

I see your point...Switching the wheels took some effort as the carrera sports had TPMS and the sport design(old wheel) did not...The service department was great.

A side note...if you remove TPMS from any wheelset, you should get a balance job performed...it turns out those sensors do have an impact on balance...whoops...I should have known

Nice choice, although I like the Sport Designs too, except for cleaning them. Any interest in selling your TPMS sensors?

Yep, I think so too. I'm biased of course because I have them on my 08 C2S but I have had so many positive comments on these wheels. I would like another set for track days but they are hard to find.

 

I just wish they weren't so heavy.

 

Dealer kept them as part of the trade...the 911 the sport designs were going on had the TPMS sensors...The car takes on a different appearance...the curves of the 911 are really complimented by the curves and angles of the carrera sport rims...the sport designs seem to lessen the impact of the overall 911 silhouette? my .02

On a side note, I think I may have seen your car for sale recently? If it is the one I believe..it is a real beauty
