Here's some free legal advice.

Look up the District Attorney's office for that area. Contact them and have them provide you with necessary forms to file a complaint for grand larceny, fraud through interstate commerce, and for fraudulent credit card transactions.

I bet those wheels will show up pretty fast!

 

Well sadly, since Tomas failed to reply after all this time, I forwarded the papers to the lawyer and will handle this matter from now on. It will be federal case and it will bare his name any where he goes.

One can certainly understand that business can change and compromise one's cash situation.

However when one possesses another's goods (bailment) there is a duty at law to use reasonable care while handling those goods. Conversion is not reasonable care. It is larceny!

You are doing the correct thing.

 

Thanks for the support... he got one or two things coming his way and he will not even know what happened a federal fraud case will follow him where ever he goes... I still feel sorry for his family though, I hate to do this and waste my time and money over a dumb thing. Don't get me wrong... I'll let no one screw me over like that without turning their life to a living hell

This member is being very reasonable and certainly gave the business owner enough time to respond. The owner's response would have headed off his future problems.

I have an issue with a Doctor in Texas who committed fraud aginst me. He has been unreasonable and he will, too, be sorry, he did that.

If you feel you are wronged, don't settle.
