I think that eBay is where the Chrome can be found.

Glad you aren't offended.

We should start a flame war, this forum has been slow lately!

Can you send any pics of what that would look like and how it differs from the "matte titanium" finish that is the current standard badging....?
Pictures won't show. We did some plugs in this finish for the VW Jetta - you know the chrome monster front bumper trim? It's not quite mirror shiny, but very close to that sort of finish. And we don't do much of it at all for emblems. The paint has a ridiculous price point on it (cannot be 'mixed' from standards). So we offer other options. Happy to offer 'decorator' tips anytime.

How about going with the "911" logo in chrome? Simple, elegant and easy to wax around.

It's very nice but I lose the S badge, which I do like because it does seperate me from the common folk who drive the base model-

Let the GAMES begin!

Actually I do like the 911 in chrome idea-

I found a local guy in Irvine doing the Carrera S badge in Midnight Blue- he owns a bumper shop in Irvine- all he has to do is "match" the paint and spray it- I can put it on- he will match and spray it for $40- cheaper than clear side markers...

I have seen the badge in BLACK on Midnight Blue and I did not like it- I have an idea I will like it better if the color was matched- I have not yet seen that- I will show you some pics- if I do not like it- it is relatively inexpensive to try something else-

Cheers-

SD

I know what you mean with the Black letters on Dark Blue. I have seen a few 996 with this, and it makes them look older then they really are.

I think a 911 in chrome is your best bet. You would need to get the chrome tail pipe extensions to really tie the badge in with the rest of the car.

GL finding them and post some photo's when you are done.
