Ed: Is this a trick? YOU are recommending chrome? By the way, you need to get the same plate as 1Gunner above ("NVRANUF") or better still NVRENUF.

BC plates are a maximum of 6 characters I don't like personalized plates, however I am waiting to change my plate to any letter combination with the numbers 666!

Right now I am being cheesy with the 997 on my plate...just too common for me.

Hey- everyone has their thing. I just like to ensure the car is not too boring- if you saw it in person you would not think it was near over the top-

In fact- I thought I would get some new found RESPECT for painting the badge Midnight Blue!

I want to just get the S red like in your pic. How could I paint this myself?

I love bumperplugs dont get me wrong, but I can $70 bucks from the one on bumperplugs doing it myself.

 

I just went to a local "bumper" shop- a small shop who has the equipment to mix the paint and come very close to matching the original color-

I found a guy who is going to match the paint and "shoot" the badge for $40- that's fair- the biggest cost probably is matching the paint...

 

Haha i guess with the rain in New England here its mod day for me. I just a Guards Red S emblem from Bumperplugs.

Yes its $75 for the S in guards red paint. I thought about doing this myself but when I thought about buying the products spray paint, cleaners etc it would have prob been half the price. For the other half all I have to do now is take mine off clean the area and put this new one on DONE.

 

If people can't afford $75 for a simple mod, then the Porsche 997 is not the right car for them.
