20" Techarts installed yesterday - pics / comments!
You notice any difference with power output of your car with those? I was reading a post where a guy was saying his car was considerably slower with them. Just wondering.
That Blue looks sick to btw
I saw that craigslist ad after someone on here had a thread about it, unfortunately for me it was on the other side of the country. Good for you, it looks great and as someone else mentioned that color was never my favorite but after seeing yours it looks very very sexy. Enjoy the new purchase

not the best looking wheels, but a great pick-up if you got a smoking deal and 10000X better looking that the Fing ugly OEM lobster wheels.
+ move thx for sharing and i love how much you've lowered the car. perfect height.

There's a less than 1% diff in overall "plus sizing" diameter of the 20's vs the 19's, so I really don't think that is enough to have any adverse effects.
Here are the stats:
Original rear tire 295/30/19
Sidewall: 3.48 in
Radius: 12.98 in
Diameter: 25.97 in
Circumf: 81.58 in
Revs/mile: 776.64
New Rear Tire 305/25/20
Sidewall: 3.00 in
Radius: 13.00 in
Diameter: 26.00 in
Circumf: 81.69 in
Revs/mile: 775.58
Speedometer reading with new tire is 0.14% too slow.
When your speedometer is reading 60mph you are actually traveling 60.08mph.

Not sure on the weight, but I'd have to say they are a bit heavier thn the 19 lobsters.
I'm not tracking the car so it isn't something I'd ever notice. They are probably not as heavy as 19" RUF wheels though
I have HR springs on for now until I get my KW's, car is lowered about 1.2". I do not like the ride with the HR springs, it is smooth on bumps but the stock shocks are way too underdamped. Things get hairy at over 85mph hitting a dip, sever lack of rebound control.

ATL- keep in mind if you get HR springs, that is ultimately $800 (or more) that could have gone towards proper coilovers. You'll really be really amazed how much better your car responds / handles with true coilovers. The HR springs are aesthetic only.

should I still get coil overs? This is a cosmetic fix for me. $350 to lower the car (plus labor) is a quick fix.
