Installed Fabspeed Mufflers and Evo Tips!

Bought these from cayenne_ksa who was great!

I honestly thought they would be louder, but I still like it. I think I set my baseline with the PSE, which I think is much louder, so....

Anyway, to me the tips seem to stick out too much. I asked the guys who installed and they said they'd have to cut them to push them in anymore. Wonder if the more flush look I've seen with these tips are due to a different bumper of diffuser? What do you guys think? Did they install these wrong?

Seems to be a common issue with some of the aftermarket mufflers, they all seem to make the tips stick out an extra inch. Why don't the manufacturers QA this stuff before selling?
I'm pleased with the AH's since they don't have this problem, tips tuck in nicely- But, if I want to slide them outward there's room.

This is a common Fabspeed issue. Mine stick out about inch more than stock, as well.

The fabspeed tips will stick out some but I like that look. The stock tips on Fabspeed mufflers will sit back in the bumper like stock.

I had Fabspeed mufflers on my 06 and 07 Carrera S and put these mufflers through a lot and they help up very well. They sound awesome and are a high quality product.

Yeah, the look is starting to grow on me now. Particularly after I washed and waxed it ....

The left one is still slightly turned out. Doesn't look like I can shift without taking the whole muffler off...unfortunately. The installers used the wrong bolt/washer.

They look good, it'll take some getting used to since the stock ones are tucked under. I thought about going with the Fabspeed maxflow's myself but I'm still undecided.

They stick out too far and look ricey. Not at all subtle. Surprised you can't adjust them.

Well, I should say they can't be adjusted. The shop says they can't, but looking at them, from underneath, I think there is room. I'll snap a picture tomorrow and post.

I agree, they look ricey. But oddly, they've grown on me. I snap some other pics tomorrow that show the whole car. Not that bad when clean/waxed

It's funny....the Fabspeed actually sounds louder now than last week. I'm sure it's all in my head since I was initially expecting them to be louder when I first heard them. But they sound just great....perfect sound level, IMO.

Nothing else done to the car. Was thinking of trying a different car, but decided to save the headache and just spend some money on a muffler. I've never modified a car before, but I get the desire

they adjust plenty, loosen both tips and further back there is a (don't know the name) kinda "swivel" bolt/connection, with that loose you can change the angle and location that the pipe is at where the tips are ...takes some time, get the tips on, step back to get a good look, adjust, step back, repeat ...until your happy
