HRE P40 or 597R

I have a 997 C4S and wanna get a set of HRE, any suggestion on HRE P40 or 597R? Should I run with 19" or 20"? I lowered my car with H & R spring and wanna have a flush setup with no rubbing. any suggestions??

I would take the P40's. I personally hate deep dish rims.

19" P40's in black satin. I love'em.

You have to drop your car though.

P40's definetley. The deep dish SUX. They hold water when it rains. Stay away

Alan,

From your opinion should I go with 19" or 20" on the HRE? Is there any pic with the wheels on car?

I would go HRE. I personally love the deep dish, makes the car look much more aggressive.

I prefer 19" for performance reasons.

i've attached pics. had them on picasa.

just got these.

sorry Alan, i got a much much MUCH better initial price than what you quoted me for 19"s w/ PS2's.

very happy with them.

i also purchased bilstein pss9 coils and the initial drop is about an inch.

i've looked at champion, works, a bunch.. hre p40 is the best period. some like the p43 better.. but p40 is personal fav.

you can get 305's on the back. they look huge (wide as heck) from the back.

How about the P47? If you like the 597R, but are thinking about getting the monobloks, this might be the perfect wheel. Alan has posted pics of it above (thanks Alan).
