Alignment Settings for PSS10's installation

Okay, after reading many perspectives I took the plunge and purchased a set of Bilstein PSS10 and GMG sway bars for my 2008 C4S. I will be getting these installed as soon as I get them from Vivid, but the next question is: what is the best alignment settings if I drop the car about 1" front and rear? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Dan at Vivid recommended to have a regular alignment done to Porsche specs. I had them installed and aligned last week. I like the feel of the alignment and the bilsteins. Of course if you are tracking it a lot you could add some negative camber, but for the street it will just wear your tires inside. Good luck!

Porsche has a few specs for alignment, street or track. I have the track setting, it will be a little harder on the tires, but the car definitely handles very well with the alignment.

I have used the GT3 street spec settings on my 996 and 997, works very well. These are factory settings available in the alignment computer. You'll also want to put a couple week's worth of driving on the new suspension before getting final alignment done.

I am sure that I have a similar set up.

One other thing to note, make sure you corner balance your car at the same time.

NorthVan, question- Do you feel that corner balancing is beneficial for non-track driving? I had considered doing this on my 996 but was told not to unless I was planning on getting into competition driving, and it would not make any noticeable diff for DD.

You compete and have experience with this so just curious on your thoughts.
