Standard Leather-what is covered?
I have a 2005 with standard black leather interior. Not the full leather interior. My question is : what part of the interior is covered with leather and which parts are covered with vinyl? It really is hard to tell by looks and feel. Note: I read in a porsche magazine that some of the older 911s had leather covering only on the front of the front seats (with vinyl on the sides and back) and vinyl for all parts of the back seats.
Just asked a seasoned 6-speeder this same question the other day !
This was his response
"With the "full leather" option, the dash, door panels, and trim on both sides of the PCM are covered in leather, and have stitching along the edges. The leather also has a smooth rather than an "orange peel" texture."
Stacy
PS Thanks Ken for the info
