What company will be the 1st to market with a new exhaust system or at least free flowing mufflers for the 2009 Carrera and Carrera S?

I have been living with my 2009 997S for 1000 miles now and can not stand the sound of the cars overly muted exhaust system.

HELP...someone get to work!

AfterHours is going to start on this soon, they're presently looking for a 997.2 owner willing to let them have the car for a few days for design prototyping. LA area.

 

Funny thing is, that I expected a lot of guys here getting the new 997 and it seems that is not the case. A few but certainly not a lot.

 

We just got them all fixed up the way we like them!!!
Now, we have to change?

 

...and I do not think you will see a lot of new 09's this year. I say this because they are very limited to the dealers. Each dealer is only getting a few...I believe under 8-10 this year. Allocations are limited.

My dealers told me PSE will be available to order sometime in February 2009. That tells me I could probably have it on my car in March. However I am thinking Sharkwerks or Fabspeed (loved my Fabspeed mufflers on my 06 &07) will have something out in December since they both have cars now to prototype on.

Got my car 3 weeks ago... Ordered it the second the dealer had pricing which was close to 3 months ago.

 

Fabspeed Motorsports will release a complete exhaust system for the 2009 997 Carrera vehicles shortly. Our engineers and fabrication team are currently studying the stock exhaust setup to reconfigure a sport exhaust which will produce the most power while limiting resonance and drone. MDRUMS: What's going on with Willie Parker?? I haven't seen him play in 4 weeks now and now it looks like Mewelde Moore is about to take his job.

 

Joey, yeah Parker's knee is hurt. They say sprained but I think there is more to it. He is on my Fantasy team too...the league I pay money to play in. Too bad I could not get Moore too.
