Will 997 Adaptive Sport seats transfer to a 996? Any hardware needed?

 

They should bolt in fine, no idea about electrical and air bag hook ups.

 

Wondering, are there any external sensors needed for the adaptive function?

The adaptive functions are just motorized adjustments. Power is needed for these motors, it is a simple mollinex connection, if the 996 has power seats, it may be a direct connection. The airbags is another connection, again this may not be the same on the 996, but it might work, Porsche tends to make very little changes when I comes to things like this.
