i do not have an S, but they was a little big on my car so he had to put these clamps on them to make them fit right, i think they should fit the S.

I have one from my 996. I'm not sure if it fits a 997 though. I only used it for 500 miles so it's in "like new"' condition. I can let it go for $120.00.

There are two different muffler bypass pipes for the 997 and 997 "S". The inlet diameter is larger for the S models. 996 muffler bypass pipes will only fit 996 vehicles because the tips are welded on.

Oh so the 997 non-S will not fit the S model?

I hear is fits by some forumer here?

Saying that only the non-s version require some clamps whereas the S is direct fit?

Hey Joey, I thought the only difference is the part where the tips attach. Are the 'S' bypass pipes a different diameter where the tips attach, or are they all the same, and use a clamp/spacer on the end so that the larger 'S' tips can attach.
