Interesting observation on the adaptive sports seats

The lower and upper side bolsters adjust not be swiveling in or out ( like on my '97 Corvette C5 ) , but merely by plumping up internal air bladders like on the lumber adjustment. I'm a thin guy and even at maximum inflation I didn't feel much more cosseted - only the sensation of the bolsters being " spongier " for lack of a better description. OTOH, if you are a wide body, the seats will also be a waste of money. I'm sure they weigh a ton, too. At least the upper back " wings " no longer pinch the shoulder blades like they do on the 996 sports seats . Has anyone sat in the 997 base sport seat to see if it's upper side wings are wider now ?
Don't expect anything approaching the euro GT3 buckets for spirited drives. .

I couldn't adjust the adaptive sport seats to a setting that was comfortable.

Finding the right fit really depends on the individuals specific build. I have relatively short legs and a longer torso, so finding a good seat is a matter of compromises.

The GT3 Euro seats are the best I've sat in.

Dock, it's too bad PAG went to all this trouble to have an adjustable seat and cheaped out with air bladders . I still felt like I was sitting on top of a seat instead of within it. The proper way would have been a deeper bucket that actually holds with wide latitude swiveling seat and back bolsters as a genuine option for people who track. These will be no better than base seats on a track.
