2009 porsche P03 Sport Bucket Seats

I had an opportunity to see the 2009 porsche P03 Sport Bucket Seats at the auto show this weekend. Are these seats available for purchase seperately? how much? and from where ?

Or ... can somone recommend another simular set? Im looking for the dual 6 point harness and regular seatbelt option with a carbon fiber back for my 06 supercharged 997S

There are Sport Seats and then Sport BUCKET Seats. The ones you can order for the 997 and that come in the GT2 are called Sport BUCKET seats. Yes you can order them in a 2009 997 or buy them from Porsche.

The Sport BUCKET Seats have a carbon fiber seat back and DO NOT recline. The seat back tilts forward for better access to the rear seats, and the seat moves forward and back but no pump up or down!!! Also if you are tall or have wide hips you should sit in these seats first because they sit a lot higher than standard or regular Sport seats. I am 6'5" and height weight proportioned and was no where even close to fitting. However the regular Sport Seats fit me absolutly perfect.

As much as I love those seats, they are hard to get in and out of for daily use. And I think the leather will crack much quicker than the regular seats. All the 09 4S Launch cars came with those seats. I think they are a $3K plus options, and not $6K+... The Cf backing is very nice.

Yes they are a $3k option. Sweet seats if you can fit in them.

I have emailed Suncoast yesterday. I had a chance to sit in them at the Miami Auto Show this past weekend I liked then a lot. It is confirmed a $6795 option, but in my opinion, a must for tracking and daily drive without the constant changes. I like the built in air bags

Actually had the opposite experience. I was told they sit lower and are actually preferred by taller drivers. I am 6-3 and I loved the seats.

The Sport Seats do sit a little lower but not the Sport BUCKET Seats...at least in the new GT2 I sat in at my dealership. I was really really bummed too! I really wanted the carbon fiber backed Sport Buckets.

Also the Buckets do not come with the pump up and down feature.

I have the adaptive sports seats, but need the 6 part harness. Since I have a CAB with pop up roll bars, what can I attach the 6 part seat belts too on the P03 Sport Seats since I wont be using a regular roll bar is it possible?

You can't use the Sport Seats with a harness since there is nothing to run the shoulder straps through on the seat back. The Sport BUCKET seats have the holes on the top of the seat back to run a harness. You can use a roll boar or harness bar in a cab.
Every DE I have been to they make cab's run with the top up. This might be different region to region and track to track. I see you are in S. Florida so you will be runnign Homestead Moroso and Sebring and those tracks are top up tracks with PCA and Chin. I personally would not do to much with a cab to make it a track car because even with those pop up bars a cab is still not safe enough at the track. Take it easy!
