Battery replacement cause glitches ?

When I replace my battery on my 997, will I lose any functions / settings which will require a dealer re-set? I just read a recent post where the battery died and the owner had a glitch with his electric seats and other electrical problems.

You will be fine, you shouldnt need to go to the dealer afterwards. The only problem you may run into is if you have a C4, and you have less than 1/4 a tank of gas.

I replaced my battery couple of months ago and no problems. I just had to reset my radio and time. There was PSM error message but it reset itself after couple of minutes.

The PSM light was because the steering angle sensor had to re-zero, no big deal. Should have mentioned that sorry.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I will be purchasing a battery replacement from Costco. Not concerned about weight etc. Just want a functional replacement. The Costco price is very low too!

I tried to find a battery at my local Costco but they said they stop ordering them for some reason. I hope you find it. I got mine from autozone.
