997 C4 bumber advice

Due to a parking lot mishap, I need to get a new front bumper cover for my C4. Does anyone have any advice as to the most cost effective way to do it? Is it a simple removal and replacement, or do I need to have it professionally installed? Thanks.

I would order a aero or GT3 front bumper cover, buy 2-3 of the lower lip, have them all painted and installed professionally. These are very close in price to the stock bumper cover and make the front end look outrageously cool. Just be prepared to replace the lower lip alot, thus buying 2-3 lower lips and having them all painted at the same time.

I know the front and rear are supposed to be balanced with the rear wing as well, but at my speeds (under 100mph) I never notice the difference in aerodynamic stability.

Sorry to hear about the scuffle in the parking lot. This too shall pass.

I like your idea, but since I drive the car year round in CT, I suspect the GT3 bumper would turn the car into a red snow-plow.

Isn't there a special tool required to remove the clips that hold it on both sides of the trunk opening?

My vote is for the GT3 front bumper....

That being said, whatever you decide to do, I would have a professional do the work!
