The exhaust was just working up my appetite when it ended - HEY - where is the gratuitous driving away and drive by scenes??!?!?

Those should be essential ingredients to hear the range of the exhaust note and what it is going to sound like to people you drive by or pass!

No kidding it's like foreplay for an hour with no "happy ending".

 

I did make several attempts at the drive by clip but it was windy that day and there were other cars travelling in the opposite direction and the end result once I uploaded it and listened with speakers (as opposed to listening to it on my digital camera) wasn't a good barometer for how it actually sounds, so I decided not to post it. Certainly don't want to misrepresent how awesome the car really sounds. Once I get a couple of good drive-by clips, I will definitely post them!

I'm looking into Europipe vs Cargraphic vs AWE

 

Not much longer!

 

The mechanic at my local Porsche dealer tells me he likes the AWE better than Cargraphic and Tubi as per customer cars which he has worked on (I've only heard them on YouTube. I've heard Cargraphic on 997tt in person and that sounds great albeit a bit loud for me). However, I didn't ask whether those were just mufflers as opposed to my headers + cats + mufflers. In any case, I love the power gains from my whole setup. I test drove the 09 with PDK and I honestly cannot say my 08 is slower. A sales guy from the dealer along with this mechanic who were either driving or riding in my car agreed with certainty mine is clearly faster than stock 08 (throttle response and acceleration). As for the 09 comparison, again, while they thought the 09 "must still be faster", they couldn't feel it with certainty. If you don't believe me, come for a ride sometime! Sorry, never did a baseline dyno pre mods, so can't be bothered to spend money on a dyno now. Instead, threw it into a short shifter last week.
