To this point I have focused on performance mods rather than aesthetic mods. But it's time to strike a balance.

I want to add a wing and front bumper to my 997S. My favorites to this point are the TechArt Type III rear wing and GT3 Front Bumper Conversion from SunCoast. Combined, should look mean.

Can you post a pic of your aftermarket wings and front bumpers so I can make a decision?

I would stay OEM...go GT3 wing or GT3 RS wing...or you could get crazy and put a TT wing and decklid on your car!

I have the following for sale for a 997 S.

Cargraphic GT2 wing
Cargraphic GT3 front bumper. Screens and chin included (chin needs work)
MAYBE my GMG carbon fiber GT3RS wing.

I've seen people mix and match but I had issues with doing that . I kept mine uniform techart Type 1 including the suspension to match the aerokit .

 

I'm al for the OEM.

That's what I have right now, so I'm obviously for it too. It fits better than anything else.

I will mention that the GT3RS wing is hella heavy, both from Porsche and GMGs/MA copy. It's surely about the same as other wings, but when I lift up a full carbon decklid (like DocDan's... guys you should check that car out) it's really telling how much heavier fiberglass bases are.

Try the factory Aerokit. OEM and you don't have to undergo modifications if you use a GT3 decklid plus, it looks like the GT3 wing to begin with!

 

I went with the GT3 front bumper and a Misha wing. I added the TechArt sides, but it isn't necessary.

 

Remember that the factory Aerokit is on sale for $1115 off of our normal web price (over $1700 off of retail!). You would have to lose the headlight washers if you have them now, but it's a helluva savings! There are very few of these available at this price.
