looking for more horsepower in NA engine...
Ed
The slave cylinder was replaced under my after-market EasyCare warranty. $100 deductible.
BTW, I should at this point say "Thank You!" to the service dept. at Hennessy Porsche here in ATL. From the head of the dept., to my rep, to the guys under the lifts, they're all phenomenal.
This recent clutch, LWFW, etc, is just ONE example:
-they take pictures of the repair and send them to me same day
-they invite me into the shop, under the lift, to see the old parts come out and inspect the new parts
-they spend time to explain the process to me
That's passion, caring, customer service, and at this point friendship and mutual respect to Nth degree. My hat is off to them.

Glad you are happy, trust your fellow 6speeders, this group is pretty straight up and honest.
to really gain some power and keep the engine NA you will need to do a complete package...
getting more air into the car, adjusting the fuel air ratio and getting the air out of the car
free flowing cold air intake
bigger throttle body
port the heads
lightweight fly wheel
longer tube headers
200 cell cats or no cats
free flow muffler or no mufflers.
Then you should seek out a custom ECU tune from Softronic or Promotive.
This should get you around 350-360hp at the wheels...400 or so crank hp.

Cattman,
Glad to hear about the dealership being good to you. I've had spotty experiences with mine, so now I drive to Charlotte (2 hours) to have my car looked at when I need an actual dealer.
It will rock SO MUCH if tuners start messing with the cams on this engine. I can't wait.

With respect to the C4 you are pretty much a RWD more then an AWD car, I'm not sure what the maximum front drive split is in the AWD setup, but I'm guessing like 30-40% front at most. Either way, there is likely not much reason to put a front LSD in the car (if one even exists), but the rear will grant you the same benefits as a RWD car. More grip, get on the power sooner and so on, actually like was mentioned earlier, with good differentials, you'll end up hitting traction control less (more grip) and in the C4 case, you'll probably end up sending less drive to the front wheels then you current do.
I would have no issues putting money on a C2S w/ Pilot Sport Cups and a good alignment will put up a shorter lap time then a C2S S/C with stock everything else.

Totally depends on the track, but I agree with your point.
Yeah, I should qualify anything with long straights would favor the SC, but assuming a decent mix of low and mid speed corners, no abandoned airfields.
I get more air to my 997 S to breath better by kicking it in the nutz. I learned that from super charging a camel; sneak up behind the camel with two bricks and whack the jewels; the camels nostrils flare wide open as it gasps for increased volumns of air.
