When required...rears first of course. Definitely depends on your driving style.

6 to 10 K rear .
Two rear to every front.

Depends on driving style and type of tire.

Driving style, I went through 2 1/2 sets of tires last spring/summer.

This was on the track!

I never have . I am not a hard driver either . My worst was 6K and my best was 13K . I'm at 6800 on my 700 Turbo and still have some rubber left.

Tires are the biggest expense but don't let that be the one reason NOT to get the car .

My Pirellis at 10k miles are about shot. I am not a hard driver at all..I've had fun but probably less than 10%of the total driving time. The weight is on the back of these cars and you burn through the rears quite a bit faster than the fronts. My fronts look like I'm not even half way to the tread bar.

The vast majority of people who own a Porsche do not need the aggressive camber settings on the rear wheels. If the setting is dialed out, you can easily get 20,000 miles on the rear tires and still have a great handling car.

I have put 4,000 miles on my car in the last 5 months and I have gone through:

2- sets front
2 -sets rears

But i do 2 AX and track days on them per month!

Damn these PS2's are spendy!

My car has 12,000 miles on odo, and surprisingly the factory Pirellis still have reasonable tread left, even though I took a lot of tread off at a driver training event this fall.

I have used up fronts at about 20K and rears at 10K over 34K miles. Driven hard at times, but not crazy. I do replace tires before they become critical.
