Some tuning advice please
They are not stock, and don't look like Tubi from your pic. I'd need to see more.
They look like Fabspeed mufflers, in which case there should be a branded badge somewhere on them. Find them and you can confirm.

From closer inspection I would say that I appear to have both standard cats and headers so would these be worth my while changing?
I have one more question too, not related however ; I need to adjust the steering wheel position slightly as it's a little off center when I'm driving, how can this be done?

As for adjusting your wheel, best way tofux that is to get an allignment done. It is likely you have something that needs adjusting, or the crown on the roads that you drive is quite severe.

I agree with what some others have said. If you already have the AWE mufflers, keep going - I am extremely satisfied with the AWE full system (headers, cats, mufflers). I aslo have the EVO air intake and GIAC flash. The flash on its own generated a marginal difference and for the price tag, I didn't think it was a great return. However, I couldn't be happier with all of these mods combined. Search for AWE full exhaust in this forum and there's a link I posted in a thread I started that has the sound of my full exhaust system.
Well courtesy of Andrew at Redline, I have an EVO intake system on its way to me
I will likely do the cats/headers after Xmas and then finally the Softronic. Thanks for all your help guys, it's very much appreciated.

I did every mod possible to my 997S, and then ended up putting the SC in. I was able to still use all of the mods except the airbox, but once the SC kit went in, I realized the other mods did not do much except make noise. Still have the noise though now I have the power behind it.
The chances of me going with an SC are pretty slim, it's certainly tempting though!! Since I only plan on keeping the car for 2 years however, it doesn't seem worth it for me. I may change my mind though, it has been known
I received the EVO MS kit today (thank you to Andrew at Redline). I'm not hugely competent when it comes to working on cars but I'm fairly handy so thought I'd attempt it myself.
Install was relatively straight forward to be honest, just had a bit of trouble getting the resonator clip off as I couldn't see it very well. Only other issue I had was getting the MAF sensor in the new airbox tube, was very hard getting that green 'o' ring to pop through the hole!
So after about an hour of tinkering I seemed to have everything in order and nervously fired it up - it worked! (this is the first time I've done something like this myself, might be a minor one but I'm proud
)
I took it for a short drive, to be honest it wasn't as loud as I was expecting ; it certainly adds a bit to the 5500rpm area but the AWE system I have is already pretty loud anyway. It definitely feels smoother at the top end though.
If I wasn't thinking about doing the headers/cats/remap as well I'd probably be quite unsure if I'd spent the money in the right direction but I'm sure when they all come together it'll be a good package.

Keep in mind that the intake alone is not going to make a huge noticable difference . add the exhaust and software and you will then see the results (particularly in the midrange) .
