I was weak, I spent a bit of money, did some great mods on my car (LSD and LWFW) and I would love to come across a 997.2 on the track. I know that my car will be faster.

Tim, I am not sure that I can be on the track with you at the same time, I may hit you intentionally out of envy

Geeting weaker but resisting it for now!

My plan is to see what Porsche comes up with for the 50th aniversary of the 911, that may be a keeper!

Don't worry Ed. Even if I'm driving a GT3, I'm sure you will still be much faster than me in your current car.

I am waiting it out .. the 991 should be here in a couple years. I picked up a couple of mods to hold me over until then.

Yeah. I'm having no 997.2 desires whatsoever actually. When the GT3 with the new motor and a hopeful 450HP comes out, then I'll be thinkin...

I give it 12 months out of a "performance" car and you'll be back .

I've been considering a low optioned 997.2 C4 for everyday. Anyone think it is crazy to have 2 997s? or should I get something like a GT-R or M3 instead?

Two [new] 911s would be sickening and people would hate you.

Depending upon how much money you'd want to lay out, I would buy/lease a BMW 135i Coupe/335i Coupe/M3 Coupe [as a DD].

I stand corrected .

I guess the thought of raising twin four year olds and driving a 7 series BMW's diverted my attention enough to think of this lifestyle which is different than mine.

I do understand why you would keep those others cars as they are beautiful vehicles .
