Sport Design Wheels from C4S onto C2S

Looking at a set of used Sport Design wheels that were on a C4S. Will these also fit a C2S? Not sure if Porsche built these in varying offsets or not?

AJ997S is infamous around these parts
I put a set of OEM 997 Turbo wheels on my C2S, I think the rear offset is 52mm(for WB pcars) which does fit with no rubbing. I like the aggresive look. Techart's wheels for our NB cars have a 51-52 rear offset. I'm assuming the Sport design C4S offsets would be the same as the Turbo wheel offsets if not less thus will bolt up fine. Now if you plan on slamming the car real hard you may get fender rubbing. Mine isn't lowered yet! If you would like i can email you pics off my car with the turbo wheels so you can get an idea of how a WB wheel will sit. Never go less then 50mm offset on a NB. Hope that helps a little.

ps i had the lobster claws with the 17mm spacers also and the turbo wheel sticks out more then that set up did....

I am already running 17mm spacers with my stock wheels so I have an idea of what they probably look like. That being said some wheels came with spacers on the C4 but I am not sure if the Sport Design did or not. I am having the owner check the back of the wheel for the offset.

Keninirvine, has the Sport wheels (different from Sport Design) with spacers on his Targa4S. I think the Sport Wheels only come in NB fitments. If you are running spacers with NB wheels it should sit almost the same way as WB Wheels.

Okay my next question is, can I swap wheels that were on a car equipped with TPMS onto my car which does not have TPMS?

Yes. My front wheels have TPMS wheels and sensors.

If you don't have TPMS, the sensors on your new wheels will just be passive. The reverse is another issue. If you put non TPMS wheels on a car with TPMS, the TPMS on the car brings up an error because it isn't receiving info from the wheel sensors.

The Sport Design wheels have the offsets shown on the front side of the rims. I expect they are all 57 and 67 mm, but am not sure. If they were on a WB car, the car likely had the same 17mm factory rear spacers as my car has with the Carrera Sport wheels (which 67mm rear offsets and can be used on NB cars).

If you end up buying them, and don't need the TPMS sensors, I may be interested in buying the sensors from you so I can mount them on my after-market wheels.
