New to 997

Hi, just picked up a 06 C2S Cab at the local Porsche dealer. Car has Nav, Sports Chrono, Bose, etc. Great car and sounds and drives very different from the 996. Some pictures to share, thanks.

Hiro

Had a 02 TT for a short period of time. It is 6spd. The sound is definitely a drastic change and the steering feel is completely different, perhaps is due to AWD vs. RWD as well as NA vs. turbo, but the 997 definitely feels a lot more agile. Both are great cars. I have not driven the 997 TT for comparison purposes.

Picture of the TT with a friend's 355 in a very early morning drive. We then bumped into a rare 959 later which was all original inside and out. What an all time classic...

Congrats and enjoy it in good health.

"bumped into a 959".... Chances of that are about the same as 'Bumping into the Pope!'

LOL, that is true, that individual is a car collector and he only drives it very occassionally to recharge the battery.

There is a 959 for sale here in OC at Truspeed motors. I think about $400k will take it.
