+1. But I am considering after market because of I really like the look of 20" wheels.

20" wheels? I'd prepare to duck and cover if I were you. There will be plenty of 'incoming'.
I'm a '.1' owner and am rather fond of the 'lobster claw' wheels. I think that puts me in the minority. There is one drawback, but this is for the OCD crowd. They are rather hard to clean. Other than weight (and strength - if that can be calculated), the 'ease of cleaning' thing is very important to me.

I really like Carrera Classic the best followed by Carrera S II's (Since lobster claws aren't avalible any longer)
Although the Carrera S II's look a bit too Ferrarish?

I'll stick with Carrera IV 18" wheels for now. 19" wheels aren't my thing.

Yes, I'm not a fan of the new wheels either. But I suspect it's just a question of familiarity.
Re the 18" thing, given all of the comments about the superiority of the 18" (and the marketing flair of the 19") is there any guidance about mounting an 18" set on my 997S/Cab? I know this is counter to most folks who go 'bigger', but I keep reading how the 18" give superior handling and compliance.
So, what do people do? Do you use the 997 (non-S) wheels? After market wheels? And are the recommended tires the same ones on the 997? Is the outer diameter about the same?

I don't have any info to back this up but I think 997.2S brakes are bigger than 997.1S

I don't know if 18" will fit since it's not listed an option?

The Brakes on the Carrera and Carrera S are the same size. 18" Wheels should fit with out any problems.

Of the OEM styles I like the Carrera Classics. I used to run them as my Summer wheels and run the lobster claws in the Winter with Conti's. Just switched to HRE C20's from Vivid in september.

I have Classics on my '07 S cab and think they're great. Can see the red calipers so well and most people remark on that. Had the previous (18") version on my 996C4 and really liked them, too. 5-spokes!
