Philips CrystalVision 5000k
Philips CrystalVision 5000k
Recently, I was planning on upgrading my stock hid bulb to Philips 6000k Ultinon bulbs. But i was bit hesistating because the Ultinon tends to give off a bit purplish hue. I wanted something pure white. However, it appears Philips just came out with new bulbs. They are ca;; CrystalVision 5000k. According to Philips, ( i spoke with representative and also stated on their website) this new bulbs should actually give more visibility than stock 4300k and plus it is pure white. The temperature 5000 Kelvin does simulate natural daylight. I have the stock HID's in my car, and find that the light is excellent. I might change them if the die, then I might look at a different temperature.
Anyone know what color temp is on OE 2009? .... not the Dynamic Cornering (if that's dif) .... but the reg Bi-Zs.
I agree on the 6K .... it's what I have on the Turbo along with 5K H3 fogs & running lights.
