Have these on our 997 C2S and they are great. Removed the PSE to put these on, happy to get rid of the weight. Some say they are loud, but my wife and I like our cars loud, so it's nice. PSE in Sport mode was cool, but we wanted more.

I say get ear plugs. Luv the sound 4 about a week. U can find these in the parts section. Be patient and save yourself some $. They sell used for about 175. Do a search on this forum to see what others have said about the music.

It's a bolt on, getting the stock mufflers out of the bumper you have to wiggle them out, or pull them through where the rear wheels are, or pull the bumper cover off and it's all right there for the taking. I think the only tool you need is a 13mm socket.

The factory tips come off and then bolt on to the bypass pipes, only took a couple minutes to get them adjusted.

they are 2 metal pipes. $175 is i guess the best price for a mod on a 911. i still feel like im being taken. call me cheap. i like to hold the money. have tough time parting with it

Hi John, not sure what year 997 yours is but our set up is for the 2009s only and the stock set up is very different from the gen 1 997s 05-08. Our set up retains the side mufflers and we replace the center unit because when we removed the sides the resonance/interior drone was too much for most folks
