This thread for removal of the rear mufflers..

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...l-install.html

Personally, I found that you DONT need to remove the rear bumper, just the rear wheel. Once the wheel is off you can see how the mufflers are mounted (easy once you can see) (btw, my first time: first muffler 1.5 hours, second muffler 15minutes!)

Here is another thread for PSE type bypass:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ste-money.html

IMHO, I did the PSE 3rd chamber bypass but not enough noise/note. I also did the full exhaust bypass however the noise was a bit too much for my quiet neighbourhood.
each to his own.

Are you doing 80 in your neighborhood?

Honestly, the BP's are loud. Very loud. However, at low speeds/partial throttle it's reasonably quiet. Nobody even pays attention to me when I'm cruising around slowly. It doesn't get exceptionally loud till you pass 4K rpm at WOT.

Sorry, forgot to clarify. The approach angle from street to my driveway is very steep. I need to take it slowly and at an angle (just installed GT3 front bar (not on avatar yet)) so the occasional throttle blipping and revving and then "launch" once you get on the street can become tiring for some. Agreed however that at idle, bypass pipes are quite reasonable.

I like cars loud but with a bypass it is to loud for my taste. I like racing but with a every day used car i sometimes just want to cruise without any ear plugs.

Start with just some side muffler replacements... maybe a Tubi or Cargraphic (or even TechArt). Those all sound so darned good although are pricier than the others but they're quality. Find someone in your area that has one so you can hear it first and then go from there?
