that is a super story. except if my wife could she would sell my 911 in a heartbeat. I am on the opposite spectrum of that type of girls to whom i am married.

my wife is the kind of woman who would do something like that. However, she would never get the chance. I would have bought it already..I am the worlds biggest baby when I get focused on a car purchase.

Here is the key IMHO, my wife has an expensive hobby and therefore she is a little more likely to give in to my obsession with Porsche. Here she is on 1 of her 7 hobbies she owns...

My wife is not bothered by my cars or their cost. She knows that though I am
obsessed with cars, I am still too conservative to buy any car we could not afford to own. I sold my M-3 and 308 to buy the Carrera--it was just time to streamline my life
with storage issues and limited time. Her only criteria when I bought the C2S--drive it, don't just garage it.
She does not have quite as expensive a hobby as horses..just 2-3 pugs depending
on how she feels about caring for mutliple lap dogs at any given time.. She also knows she usually will get something "nice" after I buy a new car. Guilt, I guess.
PS She does love our MINI S and thinks the Porsche is gorgeous but has never driven it or wants to. She's afraid of it.
