Every time I've seen these on ebay, they are over a 100 dollars. Compared to the regular Gold emblem which is about 50 bucks. Is there any significance/story behind the silver one??? I'm relatively new to the world of Porsche (as you can see).

Mine was a gift from my Tuner . I love it . It particularly looks good on certain exterior colors with clear side markers. Sorry about the smudge on the pic . It was so hot that day but its the only close up I have of the badge .

The reason for the price difference between the standard gold and the silver badges is that the silver badges are chrome plated oem Porsche gold badges.

It's funny that wheel center caps come w/ the silver look from factory and many option the gold one... and the std hood crest is gold and people replace it w/ silver. Go figure.
