Hamman

Hamman is the make.... Not a very common look so that was a plus for me, but do love the GT3 front ends many people have gone with. I am not a fan of a lot of their products (some just to aero-y looking for me) and the near 10+ week wait to have it shipped from Germany but love the older 993 GT2's etc and this front spoiler with the curled up sides looks similair IMO. The 997 facelift from the 996 went back to some older school looks that work such as the round front lights etc and today we see on the 997.2 the rear red reflector back in style..... So tried for that mix/blend of new model car but classic Porsche mods. The RUF wheels etc.... if I did not go RUF was debating hallow 996 turbo twists or even some Sport Technos style wheels. (one of my favorite wheels on the 996's). The chin spoiler isn't for everyone I know, but most porsche people (that follow some of the older cars like the 964, 993's etc...) get it when they see it in person.

Wow, just read the reference re the 997TT wing install and it sure sounds like a handful. Too bad because your car looks insanely great. The wheels as well. They are RUF's, right? To me, the nicest Porsche wheels made. I've heard they are weighty. I'm sure I could find it with the 'search' key, but do you have the specifics?

$$$ and Lbs

Yes too much $$$$ if you dare buy the wing new, but buy one used (1800-2500 range) and you can have the best looking operational wing, OEM Parts (some value to that IMO) out there installed (get the right shop this is key), painted, etc for under 3500 and that includes a new EVO air box etc...getting the rear deck lid at a fair price is the key IMO.

Yes a few lbs heavier then many rims out there but unless your shaving 10nths of your track laps you wont feel the difference. If you have a convert a few extra lbs should not concern you. Don't mean that in a bad way, just saying...

I had posted these before, but seems like some new interest in this wing swap, here are some pics from other angles as well as upper blade raised etc...

Great solution for a cab too!

Have been thinking about this mod for my car, as it would work super well with the cab top. Most of the spoilers out there do not work with cabs (besides the fact they just look strange)

Nice work!
