VMM --Thank you. If ever I take a bath selling my car (which is the case with a stock car too ) , I would want to sell it to someone who could care about it as much I do.

JEllis - Authentic Techart parts are ordered from the two Techart dealerships in Miami and LA . Private shops can get them too . So can dealerships.
The parts actually cost much more than OEM . In fact I find them to be superior quality. In fact if I did not have a black/black car I would have ordered the lacquer interior bits which are gorgeous and rarely seen because they are expensive . It is well known that "Techart" = expensive .
My type 1 cost approx 12 or 13K
My steering wheel was about 2500.

I went in deep with this car .

Bara -- My car has been in the shop for two weeks . I get it back this week . I did my customization in segments . I will also retain two exhausts . Both Tubi . One race version and the other regular.

If you were to sell to a fellow enthusiast like you mentioned the Techart parts will be cherished and understood. To the average latte sipping Porsche owner, they are just expensive body kit pieces. Now, if your looking to sell your car quickly to anyone, there are way more latte sipping Porsche wannabe's in the world than there are enthusiasts like us. If your willing to wait for the correct buyer then that is different story. There are a lot variables when selling a car, especially a modded one.

You are right . I never bought this car to make money but rather to enjoy it. If I had to sell it quickly as you suggest then it would mean that I needed the money . More than the financial loss would be the emotional one . So much care and time went into this car . It would crush me .

Money can be replaced but time and feelings can't.

does nothing to resale unless the parts on the car have been retrofitted in a way that is poorly done with cheap parts or irreversible. I personally avoid modded cars for the very reason of the unknown....unknown what else has been done to the car that I do not know of.
