Good Deal or Not?
Good Deal or Not?
I recently picked up this 06 C2 garage queen with 6600 miles.
It's GT Silver with Blue Interior, has Bose, Power Seats and is a 6spd manual.
Bought it for 47,500 because it is flawless, loved the color combo and still smells brand new inside. Has been serviced 3 times in it's life by a Porsche dealer and was never raced or driven in bad weather.
Did I pay too much in this market?

Wow.. thanks for all of the positive comments.
I know that the GT silver was a 3100.00 option because I have the window sticker for the car and all original paper work. It does look great with the blue interior. The car also has the stainless steel door sills.
I drove it over to my local dealer and one of the Porsche mechanics looked over the car for me. He told me the car was perfect and when he drove it his comment was that "you got a good one".
The only thing I noticed is that after driving it a little the exhaust pipes looked a little sooty inside. I wonder if that is because the gas was so old in the car. I think it was only driven about 200 miles in the last 6 months. The exhaust smelled like their was Stabil in the gas. I have used Stabil before and an engine running with Stabil in the gas has a unique smell. The more I drive it the better is seems to run.

Thats a good deal. The '07s are now just testing the $50k mark so you'll be ahead for a while.
I'm looking at a couple of Cali. cars but live in Az. What do I need to do to get the car checked out at the stealer? Whats the cost and do they check out the brakes and clutch at the same time?

Actually, I think you paid about $10,000 too much based on what I'm seeing the same or better car selling for today. Just kidding - Pulling your chain because you already bought it and really don't want to know what kind of deal you got
Enjoy it!

Thought I would put up a couple of better pics.
The GT silver paint on this thing shines like nothing I have seen before. I wonder if Porsche uses more clear coat on the special paints? Also, I had a Boxster S before this car in Arctic Silver, the GT silver seems to have more metallic in the paint.

Beautiful car. I personally love the blue interior and GT silver. One of my best friends has the 550 spyder special edition Boxster S from a few years back that they did in GT silver with Mocha. Love the GT silver. It also looks cool on wheels. Congratulations.
Sounds like a hell of a deal to me. Don't know that you could duplicate it. Now enjoy it and forget about what you paid for it. The car looks great and it will be a blast to own. Besides, there is no way to justify buying a Porsche because it was such a good buy.
Enjoy it in good health!
