Thingking of buying a new car.
Maybe I will order a red one with PDK and other necessarily things.
What do you think about red porsches, anyone got pictures?

Red is awesome. Not for me though. I feel like I stand out already with my black 997s.

 

I came real close to buying a Guards red but since it was going to be a daily driver I thought it may be too much; I went with Carrera white.

 

red is the way to go for me. i think of sports car in red

 

Almost got Red and I would have, but the dealer had the Nordic one lying around. Would have cost more to get the red. I like Guards red, with a lot of interior color as in the pictures above. Red + Porsche is very consipuous consumption, and maybe we need some of that now!

 

Oh - and it was ultimately the PDK that sold me on the 2009 911

 

Check out the ruby red also. I think there was a thread on 6speed or rennlist with pictures of this color.

 

I was a little unsure of getting a red car at first, but really love it now.. Red is a little flashy as a daily driver, but as 2nd car, nothing beats it. The first four are pix of mine, and the last is my next some day.

My wife wanted the Guards Red - we ended up with the dark blue 997S cab with tan interior. We have other red cars so I wanted a bit of a lower profile on the road for the p-car. Looking back at it though, the red is one great looking color and I would have gone that route instead. Still like the blue but the red pops.

 

Arrest me red................

 

Red is awesome, but you have to be the right person for it.
