Has anybody got this update, and if so, is it worth the cost in your opinion? I have an '08 C4S and the software I have doesn't even recognize parts of our national hwy. system (Trans Canada) on the east coast of Canada, and also some of our main hwy. sections in Canada's largest city, Toronto. An improvement on the mapping would be appreciated!

Ck and see what version you have before you upgrade to a version which may be the same!

Thanks, larrytrk. It looks like this may be a version with '07 maps that came out last year, according to a search of the part number I did, but I will call the dealer to check. The DVD that came with my car is PCM 2.1 - Navigation America.

 

They want to charge you CDN$87.50 to insert the new nav DVD into the DVD slot of your car???

 

To close this thread off, I spoke with the dealer, and unfortunately this update is available to update '04-'07 models to the '08 DVD which has '07 mapping.
