battery under warranty?

quick question, need a new battery on my 06c4s. Is it worth going to the dealership for replacement, or should i just spend the $80 at autozone for a replacement?

i guess i am asking will dealership replace it for free????

If you don't ask you'll never know. Assuming you're still in the warranty period and if you drive more than 6,000 miles per year, they should replace under warranty. Read the warranty book, PCNA left themselves an out if the car isn't driven much.

I don't think there's warranty replacement on a battery, especially one that's 3 years old.

I got mine from Sears for $125 and it has a 3 years warranty but RonCT is right I don't think the dealer will give you a 3 years warranty.

i'm actually glad to hear there probably isn't a warranty on it. I couldn't wait so i went the autozone route, about $90 for the batttery. Took 5 minutes to install. Went for a great drive today, all is good!

Look up Interstate and find the application for your car.

Fantastic batteries.

If you want to save a ton of weight then try an Odyssey battery. See: http://www.odysseybatteries.com/

These are fantastic batteries. Many of the Ferrari guys are using them. When my Interstate requires replacement I am going to the Odyssey. It's 26 lbs lighter than the OEM!
