Search on this site is your friend, there are a ton of good and knowledgeable folks here who have posted on the subject along with pics. Powdercoating if done right looks very nice, at least as good as paint. I believe you can get glossy, satin or matte finishes.

im getting it done on monday i hope ill take pictures of the finsihed product....i just cant figure out satin black or semi gloss
